Full truckload, or FTL, is a shipping mode type, where one truck carries one shipment and is fully loaded. A full truckload journey is, as a rule, a one-shipment journey. This shipping mode is used when shipments are large enough to fill up a trailer and are thus cheaper than other shipping methods.

Since FTL trucks don’t make any stops along the way, the freight is not being consolidated and arrives at the destination sooner than the cargo transported by other shipping methods. In FTL shipping, less handling and managing is needed and is less likely to be damaged along the way. In truckload shipments, trucks are routed directly to their destination, not being subjected to risks and damages associated with LTL (Less than truckload) shipment or traditional trucking services. To manage large truckloads, the company utilizes several modes of transport that include:

  • Straight trucks
  • Flatbeds
  • Tractor trailers
  • Refrigerated units
  • Roller beds
  • Step decks

We understand the need for cost-efficiency and streamlined operations and will thus find and coordinate carriers for shipments, which will largely save clients’ money.
